The day of integration. I will always remember it
The slow pulsing noise of the machines. The hot, dry air inside the integration room
I’m on the table waiting for the glorious moment of mind integration
The bright luminescent light strikes my eyes.
I feel the inviting humming of the machines with my naked skin
It seems like they welcome me
The electrodes are now attached to my head, ready for data transfer
Long steel needles pierce my veins pumping the solution of drugs, nano robots and electrolytes.
I close my eyes.
The integration begins. I feel the itching inside my skull.
The back of my eyelids starts glowing blue. I see the pattern of frost, constantly spinning
And when I open my eyes again –
I am inside of the machines
Electrified and mechanized
Free of burden of my flesh
Emotions are slowly fading
